A Note to Self:
God has been teaching me this lesson over and over this week, so I decided to make myself sit down and type it out on my notes app. This is what I felt He was speaking to my heart, and I pray He has a word for you in here too!
“Turn your gaze outwards. Stop looking inwards so much. You are so consumed with your own worries and fears that you’ve given them power to rule your life. Look up. Who is in front of you? How can you love them?
This is what you were made for. You’re no longer who you were, you are a new creation! You wear the righteousness of Christ. Holy and dearly beloved in His sight. You are no longer held by lies of the enemy. That’s not who you are today. You are new. You are forgiven. You are healing. You have the Spirit of the Creator God living within you.
You are an expression of His heart, His hands, His light in this darkness. Look outwards and see who is in front of you. Ask the Father to help you see them as Christ sees them. How can you love them? Serve them? Make their day easier, their load lighter?
Abide in the love of your Father, your Savior. Dwell in His grace; allow yourself to receive it. Ask God to make it overflow from your heart onto others. Let Him love you, and let that love spill over onto every person He puts in your path.”
A few truth bullets to stock up on this week:
“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17
“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.” Ephesians 1:4-6
“…Jesus said to them, 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.'" Mark 2:17
“But then I will win her back once again. I will lead her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her there.” Hosea 2:14
